One of the things I loved most about this nursery, is that it was designed for very proud grandparents, yes – this was a nursery done in their own home, specially created for their two granddaughters. Not only was this nursery glamorous, but it represents their style and flows beautifully with the rest of their gorgeous home.

The nursery was inspired by our Camila Wallpaper which my client absolutely loved. We immediately had a colour palette of teal and pink which tied everything in all together. Lush teal carpets were installed, along with bespoke curtaining which we did in a gorgeous dusty pink silk. We also added our new style rocking chair, which we did in a soft pink. Gold accents were added with our nesting side tables, the curtain tie backs and gold frames which showcases iconic Peter Rabbit imagery. The bedding we created was a very simple crisp white look with a touch of anglaise.

The cot and compactum was a set from their first granddaughter’s nursery 8 years ago, and it worked beautifully in the space. We added some soft white drapery over the cot to soften it and lighten it against the dark wallpaper. An elegant chandelier along with a decorative ceiling rose completed the space and added to the glamorous feel of the room.

I hope that this room grows with their beautiful grandchildren, and happy memories are made here for many years to come.
